Q1) What type of consulting services do you provide?

A1) We offer many types of consultation services, from technical to industry-academia collaboration and intellectual properties. We can also refer you to the right partner or institution, even those not affiliated with Hokkaido University.

Q2) Who should I contact to begin the consultation process?

A2) Technical consultations and other inquiries can be addressed to the one-stop service desk at the Center for Innovation and Business Promotion. You can begin the process by completing the online form, or you can call or fax the Center for Innovation and Business Promotion directly.

Q3) What should I do if I’m not sure there are research outcomes at Hokkaido University that match my needs?

A3) First get in touch with the one-stop service desk at the Institute for the Promotion of Business-Regional Collaboration. We can also refer you to our partner institutions at other universities or research and testing facilities.

A4) Please use the searchable list of researchers at Hokkaido University.

A5) Consultations are free. However, a fee is involved when taking part in specific collaborative research or funded research or when using equipment or facilities.
