The major objective of our presentation is: the utilization of human derived immortalized tumor endothelial cell line (TEC) in the discovery of anti-angiogenic and TEC-selective compounds or antibodies suitable for cancer intervention.

Abstract:
[Problem] To provide lipid membrane structures that can be easily produced, are small and have a uniform particle diameter, lipid membrane structures wherein the number of the encapsulated substance (target substance) and the number of lipid membranes are controlled, a production method therefor as well as a method for encapsulating one of the target substance with a single lipid membrane. [Solution] A lipid membrane structure having a lipid membrane modified with a cationic surfactant as a single membrane or as the outermost membrane of multiple membranes. Using lipid membrane structures of the invention or the production method therefor makes it possible to obtain small and uniform lipid membrane structures and lipid membrane structures wherein the number of the encapsulated substance (target substance) and the number of lipid membranes are controlled.

Abstract:
This solar cell is provided with: at least one light absorption section (13) that generates a light-generated carrier by absorbing light; and at least one direction-changing layer (12) that changes the direction in which light travels along the main surface (13p) of the light absorption section (13). The direction-changing layer (12) changes the direction in which light travels by converting light that is incident on the direction-changing layer (12) into light having a phase change on the wavefront in the direction along the main surface (13p) of the light absorption section (13).

Abstract:
Provided is a catalyst precursor, which has excellent safety and stability, has a high stable activity retention rate, is capable of repeated use, has a high reaction recovery rate, and is easily worked into various shapes. The catalyst precursor comprises a catalytic metal compound supported on a structure wherein the entire structure is formed from gold or a gold alloy whereof the primary component is gold and wherein the surface has been modified with elemental sulfur, or a structure wherein at least the surface is formed from gold or a gold alloy whereof the primary component is gold and wherein the surface has been modified with elemental sulfur. Photoelectron spectroscopy of the catalyst precursor reveals a peak derived from the catalytic metal compound, as well as a peak derived from sulfur wherein the peak of the sulfur 1s orbital is within a range of 2470 eV ± 2 eV in terms of the peak top position.
