This is a system where HU researchers are commissioned by a company to carry out research, and report the findings of that research to the client. Commissioned research is carried out at facilities on campus by our faculty and administrative staff.

If HU researchers you wish to commission for the research have been decided
Please consult directly with HU researchers about topics such as the content, period, funding and schedule of the research.
If the research content has been decided but not HU researchers
Please refer to the Research Profiles website. You can look up HU researchers and technology seeds via a full-text search, or by searching for laboratories or keywords, etc.
Required Costs and Their Amounts
- Direct expenses
- Expenses directly related to the research, such as honoraria, travel expenses, and the cost of things such as consumables, equipment and fixtures.
The required amounts are decided in consultation with HU researchers in charge of the research.
- Indirect expenses
- These are indirect expenses that become necessary in connection with the carrying out of the commissioned research.
We request payment of an amount equivalent to 30% of the direct costs.
Once an approximate consensus has been reached on matters such as the research content and duration (a period of more than one year is possible) and the research funds, please submit a Commissioned Research Application Form to the administrative staff of the faculty with which the faculty and administrative staff you wish to work with are affiliated.
